For centuries Wadim Bishop of Faith, one of the triumvirate who oversaw the Diocese of Essex, ruled from his seat of power in Ipswich. In the fetid swamps of his domain he worked ancient Thaumaturges bargaining with the spirits that called the land home. Wadim disappeared alongside his fellow Bishop Neron during the siege of Boston and now Wadim’s wards and pacts go unattended.

In recent nights strange creatures have been seen wandering the wild places of the diocese. Lumbering mounds of rot, dancing lights, and wailing spirits of the dead are all seemingly drawn to the swamps of Ipswich. The activities of the foul constructs prove too great of a threat to the Diocese risking to damage the fragile stability the Sword has constructed in Essex.

Archbishop Olek Dziedzic has called together all willing members of the sword to offer council and strength of arms in dealing with these abominations. You are summoned to gather at St. Mary the Assumption Parish under the security of Bishop Tristan Morgan. Together the Sword of Caine shall confront these threats and spread the glory of the dark father. Praise Caine!

Now the enemy brings new weapons to the table, bringing the very land itself to rumbling and screaming agony. The city flees from Boston Commons as the supernatural hides itself no more. The spirits cry out for help before the heart of the city is destroyed.

Event Teaser

Prince Reginald Cornelius Jackson 3rd invites the court of Boston and guests to an event at the Boston Institute of Contemporary Art on the scenic waterfront, celebrating the kindred and history of Boston and the Bay area. Artwork from local kindred will be hosted, Featuring works by the long-absent Adriana de Lyon of Clan Toreador, considered the artist most favored by Alexis de Lyon, one of the city’s former Princes. The city of Boston is best traveled and viewed when hosted by magnanimous local kindred. As such guests are highly encouraged to contact their local primogen and clan mates to arrange travel and accommodations during the event or visitation of any of the cities many sights. Seneschal Cillian Grey of Clan Tremere has graciously offered to facilitate any introductions of visitors and interested hosts. Special tours of the presented art will be available upon request from the local members of clan Toreador.

This Saturday, October 27th our NWoD game is scheduled to take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 320 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02458.

Saturday Game Schedule:
Space: check-in begins at 6:30, game runs until 11pm
Site fee: $15 per person, flat rate

Crowne Plaza Travel Notes:
– Don’t trust Google maps to get to this hotel. It may sit directly on top of Massachusetts Pike, but you still need to exit the expressway (exit 17 towards Newton).
– Please park in the connected garage and bring your ticket inside to get it validated at the front desk for free parking.
– The 57 bus is a good option for public transportation, but please don’t be shy in asking for a lift home if you are staying for the evening game or headed to afters.
